Guardians of the Galaxy Immersive Experience – Baby Groot

Here’s a glimpse at the later stages and testing of our baby Groot animatronic for a Guardians of the Galaxy immersive experience in 2022. Featuring actor Pete Grimwood who played the Star-Lord himself, Peter Quill.

Working to a strict brief and budget we created 2 puppets (1x animatronic shoulder Groot and 1x hand driven caged Groot) for the immersive experience in London. There were multiple shows over the course of a few months, and both Groot’s were seen in promotional material released toward the end of 2022.

We get a kick out of rising to a challenge and the real payoff on this build was seeing the reaction towards our makes in a live setting. Well chuffed!
