Stitches and Glue’s Artistic Director Becky Johnson worked as co fabrication supervisor in the ‘Creature’ department, working alongside our very own Paul Vincett who was appointment as senior Puppet maker. Under the guidance of HOD John Nolan.

The fabrication team successfully assisted the department in recreating a number of the original puppet cast as well as developing and producing new original creatures.
Becky spearheaded the build of the new Skeksis character ‘The Hunter’ incorporating new fabrication methods to facilitate the complex requirements of a challenging shoot.
Initially a character that was to be 100% CGI, but instead he was successfully delivered as a practical puppet, Designed and built by Paul Vincett adhering to Brian Froads original artwork.

Netflix's The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance won the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Program in 2020.
Visual Effects Society Award for Outstanding Special (Practical) Effects in a Photoreal or Animated Project.
